Review: Where is the Green Sheep by Mem Fox and Judy Horacek

Where is the Green Sheep

by Mem Fox and Judy Horacek

The search for the Green sheep begins with us finding the blue sheep, the red sheep, the bath sheep. But where is the Green Sheep?

This book is a perfect start to reading for any aged child. Babies will love the large, bright pictures, toddlers will love chanting the words along with the reader and for older kids it is a perfect book to learn to read the words, even though they will start by just memorising the rhyming story, they will eventually recognise the words and relate them back to the pictures.

All of my kid’s love this book, are even after years of reading it, love that they can still find the green sheep safely at the end.  This is one book that they learnt to read too and my now almost Miss 2.5 is chanting it back to me with only minimal help.

Best suited to ages Newborn-5
