A Really Super Hero

by Charlotte Lance

I want to be a hero and a REALLY SUPER one, so my mum sewed my undies with an S upon the bum.

Sometimes superheroes get everything right and wffortlessly save the world, but sometimes they don’t. A wonderfully warm and funny celebration of imagination, play, and the importance of having a good sidekick.

RRP $19.99 published by Allen and Unwin March, 2013.

With thanks to A&U for providing this copy to review.

This is a sweet book for approximately 4-7 year old girls, about the possiblilty of a girl being a super hero and following in her Mum’s shoes. A lovely rhyming story.

I would recommend this book to anyone who has young children, especially girls, my only feedback in relation to this is that the font used in the book makes it hard for early independent readers to read this book on their own.

Recommended children’s book. 4/5
