The Book With No Pictures

by B. J Novak

WARNING! This book looks serious but it is actually COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS!

If a kids is trying to make you read this book, the kid is playing a trick on you. You will end up saying silly things and making everybody laugh and LAUGH!

Don’t say I didn’t warn you…

RRP $19.99 published by Puffin, December 2014.

This is a hilarious book, my children (Mr 9, Miss 9 and Miss 6) end up in hysterics each time we read it. I first came to know about this book after watching the youtube clip of the author reading it to a group of school students here.

I would recommend this book to anyone, parents, teachers, carers, spech therapists.  The interactive nature of this book is fantastic and proves to children (and adults) that books can come alive without the need for illustrations. This would be a great book for boys that especially haven’t yet developed a love of reading. Children of all ages love this book because it makes adults be silly and say things that generally only appeal to the younger audience.

Recommended children’s book. 5/5
